Parish Groups

Like all parishes, St. Luke's relies on various specialised groups to help us fulfil our mission.  The main groups administered by St. Luke's PCC include:

  • GENESIS -  for children from ages 2 - 11,  helping explore faith through craft, music, drama and friendship with a Bible basis

  • MIDWEEK STUDY GROUP - an informal Bible study group which meets twice a month on Wednesday evenings in the Church Hall

  • HOUSE GROUP - another informal Bible study group this time meeting in the home of Steph and Stephen Haigh
  • PRAYER NETWORK - embracing all Church members

  • MOTHERS' UNION - St. Luke's Branch meets in two groups on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday evening

Various members of St. Luke's also provide their time and talents to support ecumenical groups involving Christians from the other local churches.  These groups are independent of, and not administered by, St. Luke's PCC.  They include:

  • CHRISTIAN COMMUNICARE - independent service group shared with Christians from other Churches in Holmes Chapel

  • CHRISTIAN AID - the  local committee working to support Christian Aid in the Holmes Chapel area
