SUMMER EVENT in the VICARAGE GARDEN including AFTERNOON TEA – Do come and join us! 
·         Adults £4, children FREE;  TEA will include cakes**, scones with jam and cream, tea or coffee.  There will be a Raffle, Guess the weight of the cake and Sweets in the jar. 
·         ** Donations of cakes for the event will be very welcome.

Church Building Works

 The project to repair and refurbish the church roofs started was formally completed at the end of November 2015. The main contractor for the work was Haydock Slating Ltd. of Chorley, Lancashire. The cost of this project was met through the active support of church members and the local community to our Roof Appeal Fund and a generous grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund for which we are most grateful.  The Appeal exceeded its original £100,000 target in less than a year with the fantastic support of parishioners and the local community. 
Further monies coming into the Appeal have been used to help fund the separate project to carry out urgent repairs needed to the tower roof and belfry, completed in January 2016.  Any additional monies will go towards future church building development projects such as providing toilet facilities and improved safe access to the church.
